Read carefully questions 90-95 from St. Thomas's Treatise on Law (links on course handout page under "assigned readings").  (This treatise on law is contained in the First Part of the Second Part of the Summa Theologiae.)

     In your paper explain as clearly as you can (a) the four essential elements of law according to St. Thomas, (b) the distinctions among eternal law, natural law, human law, and divine law, and (c) why, according to St. Thomas, we need the revealed divine law even though we can in principle know the natural law without divine revelation.
